A photographer’s dream space. So many images to capture, from the outside to the inner heart. This is an installation at the National Gallery of Australia, a place of shadows and reflections, sharp lines, angles, circles, curves, triangles, apricot and grey and vivid blue, all created by a concrete and basalt stupa, water, earth, landscaping, lighting, sky. Thank you James Turrell.

I hope I’ll do the same, Meg. Having a more equipped camera does not always guarantee the best results. I think that my two best pics were taken with little ixus on auto settings. But I like a dslr cause I adore shooting the same scene with different lenses and I got used to viewfinder, so now for me it is a real drag to use point and click 😀

Oh what fun you had, Meg! These are fabulous! No favourites- well, 3 and 6 and then I’ve lost count but the angles, reflections and shadows are terrific. Love that last sparkly water too. Fabulous, my dear. Many thanks for sharing.
