Definitely eucalypts, pretty certainly forest red gums (Eucalyptus tereticornis). How’s that? Two brains and a couple of ID books on a Saturday morning!
We were walking along the track we took for a walking meditation at the retreat at Christine’s last November. I was very conscious of her presence, and able to be so because my companion was contemplative rather than chatty.
I was pleased that I got such clear shots: I was expecting the twists to merge into the background, becoming a series of those shots where you wonder “Why on earth did I take that?”
