The road from Nerrigundah village to the cemetery was blazing with golden everlastings (Bracteantha bracteata I think). Every single flower demanded to be photographed.
Why thank you! I thought they were pretty good too. I need a bit of brightness now – Jude’s gone after a great few days. I even stayed up till 11.30 two nights talking. Unheard of.
I’m needing brightness too. 9.16am and not even properly light here! It’s been a drab old week 🙂 Was out with friends on a ‘Christmas’ dinner last night and have a zumba party tonight so not all doom and gloom. Take care 🙂
I had always associated paper daisies with Western Australia, but here they are in glorious profusion at Nerrigundah. One learns something all the time. Lovely photos, again.
Totally fabulous! Shots 2, 3 and 4 are fantastic 🙂

Do you pick them for the house in the winter? I remember my grandmother growing something similar when I was little.

I hadn’t thought of that. Even faded, they’d be bright in winter depths.
