I never visit garden centres, but on Saturday we were looking for chilli plants and this bench was irresistible, even if it is a bit of a mongrel.
If you enjoy sitting down in many places on a variety of benches, there is an exhibition of possibilities in Jude's part of the blogosphere.

So you have succumbed to a challenge Meg and it is a very interesting bench you have found. Now your eyes will lock on benches where ever you go…

I owe scheduling to Jude when she was visiting. Hadn’t occurred to me as a possibility before then.

Not much room to sit on that one, but I wouldn’t mind nicking the backrest!

I was a bit startled by the things people might want to buy for their garden: sheep, pigs, oversized beetles, and overbred fuschias for a start – although the fuchsia was pretty gorgeous.

This bench is so lovely – the dog looks very calm and gentle – hope for the bird’s sake that it stays that way!
