Some of these photos are harvested from morning mini-walks around Potato Point and in the bush, often after rain …
Some are miscellanea from beach prowls … or from a joy flight …
One is the lomatia along my front fence …
The last one just tickled my fancy …

Lovely bark, it would make some cool fabric designs. I’m not too sure about that big bird loitering around either 🙂

Big bird would be fine if people didn’t feed him! Although a dachshund has gone missing from the property where I photographed him.

Your neighbourhood is a joy, Meg. Though I’m not at all sure about the roaming emu.

Me neither! He was coming directly at me, but not as close as he looks! I’m only just getting a feel for the actual streets. I even know their names now – all 6 of them.

I like these intimate views of your surroundings. The tree trunk in the rain is really splendid. I’ve made a tentative start at blogging again – maybe it will work, maybe it won’t.

ICM? Google was no help unless you meant International Confederation of Midwives? Institute of Commercial Management? Independent Commodity Management? I’ve definitely been up to none of these. Isn’t the bark wonderful? I have a 5 minutes with … ready to roll. Hope the wine lived up to expectations.

Here’s what Mr Wikipedia has to say about it, Meg –

Your bark images were great. The wine my friends and I drank on Christmas Day was wonderful, but it wasn’t the first of that case….so I knew it would be good.

The artist that is Mother Nature has been at it again, I see 🙂 🙂 Twirling and swirling with her brushes all around the trees. Such fun you’ve had with these. I especially like the shadows on the aloe vera. No. 12- is that you? How very funny! Leaving you with a smile, Meg. 🙂
